Caring for Oily Hair

The principles of care for oily hair are the same as applied for an oily skin. The hair-care routine aims to removing the excess oil and exfoliating skin cells, which clog up and suffocate the hair follicles in the scalp. Infection usually erupts in the blocked hair follicles, which leads to hair loss and other scalp disorders.

Emphasis should be laid on cleansing and toning routines. The cleansing routine involves washing and rinsing the hair. Since the hair to be washed as frequently as it gets dirty and oily, a natural shampoo or a formula of aromatic herbs such as sage, amla, shikakai, and trifla is ideal. The ideal shampoo is always gentle though thorough in dissolving grime.

Massaging the hair and scalp is important. For oily hair, a massage with toning lotion is suitable. A two-minute brushing, stroking and combing routine is sufficient massage exercise for the scalp.

Warren Buffet advice for 2009 in the time of recession

We begin this New Year with dampened enthusiasm and dented optimism. Our happiness is diluted and out peace is threatened by the financial illness that has infected our families, organizations and nations. Everyone is desperate to find a remedy that will cure their financial illness and help them recover their financial health. They expect the financial experts to provide them with remedies, forgetting the fact that it is these experts who created this financial mess.

Every New Year, I adopt a couple of old maxims as my beacons to guide my future. This self-prescribed therapy has ensured that with each passing year, I grow wiser and not older.

This year, I invite you to tap into the financial wisdom of our elders along with me, and become financially wiser.

Hardwork : All hard work bring a profit, but mere talk leads only topoverty.

Laziness : As sleeping lobster is carried away by the water current.

Earnings : Never depend on a single source of income. (At least
make your Investments get you second earning)

Spending : If you buy things you don’t need, you’ll soon sell things you need.

Savings : Don’t save what is left after spending; Spend what is left after saving.

Borrowings : The borrower becomes the lender’s slave.

Accounting : It’s no use carrying an umbrella, if your shoes are leaking.

Auditing : Beware of little expenses; A small leak can sink a large ship.

Risk-taking : Never test the depth of the river with both feet.
(Have an alternate plan ready)

Investment : Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

I’m certain that those who have already been practicing these principles remain financially healthy. I’m equally confident that those who resolve to start practicing these principles will quickly regain their financial health.

Let us become wiser and lead a happy, healthy, prosperous and peaceful life.

Fasting Cures Many Diseases

Missing few meals or taking a short fast can cure colds, headaches, nervous spells and other acute troubles. So many people learned that trick of that. It can relieve the overloaded and food poisoned system. It is the most effective and simplest way to practice. For one’s survival and healthy life very little food is needed.

Diseases can be cured or minimized by the nature cure philosophy called “Fasting”. Unwanted food will store as toxins in the body. Toxins slowly destroy the immune system of the body. When immune system is affected then the human body is completely prone to diseases. But fasting eliminate the toxins from the body.

Take a leaf from Mother Nature

One of the best ways to de-stress is to bring a bit of nature into your life. Every landscape in nature is constantly changing and this can soothe the mind as you lose yourself. Look out of your window at the different shapes and sizes of the clouds, none of them will be the same as yesterday. Or think about the changing seasons, the blazing summer and the cold winter. There is no monotony in nature and so you can never get tired of it.

Try the simple pleasures of nature, read a magazine under a tree, walk in the waves and get drenched in a shower of spray; pluck the prettiest flowers you can find in your garden. If you want something wilder, try dancing in the rain or climbing the tallest mountain you find! And if all that seems out of your league, simply bring in an aquarium with fish and watch them swim. Look at various possibilities and you are sure to find something you love…this will not only de-stress you but bring you an abiding inner connection with our beautiful earth.
